By accessing or using SignaSafe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SignaSafe.

2. Description of Service

SignaSafe is an AI-powered contract analysis platform that helps users understand and assess risks in legal contracts. The Service offers:

Free Tier

  • Risk Score Analysis: Upload or paste contract text to receive an AI-generated risk score from 1 (low risk) to 10 (high risk), along with three key risk reasons.
  • Usage Limit: Free users are limited to 3 contract analyses. After reaching this limit, a Premium subscription is required for continued use.
  • Supported Formats: Plain text (paste), .txt files, .pdf files (including scanned PDFs via OCR), and .docx files.

Premium Tier ($9.99/month)

  • Unlimited Analyses: No limit on the number of contracts you can analyze.
  • Clause-by-Clause Breakdown: Detailed analysis of each clause in your contract with plain-English explanations, risk ratings, and actionable recommendations.
  • Red Flag Identification: AI-powered detection of potentially problematic or unusual contract terms.
  • Contract Comparison: Side-by-side comparison of two contracts highlighting key differences, added or removed clauses, and risk changes.
  • Advanced AI Model: Premium analyses are powered by GPT-4o for more detailed and nuanced analysis.
  • Analysis History: All your analyses are saved and accessible from your account dashboard.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

Pricing

The SignaSafe Premium subscription is priced at $9.99 per month. Prices are listed in US Dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis starting from the date of purchase.
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.
  • By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
  • You will receive a confirmation email from Stripe upon successful payment.

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at support@signasafe.ai.
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.
  • No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

Refund Policy

  • We offer a refund for the most recent billing cycle if requested within 7 days of the charge, provided the service has not been extensively used during that period.
  • To request a refund, contact us at support@signasafe.ai with your account email and reason for the request.
  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Stripe and may take 5-10 business days to appear.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price changes. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

6. Disclaimer of Legal Advice

SignaSafe is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The AI-generated analysis, risk scores, clause breakdowns, and recommendations provided by SignaSafe are for informational and educational purposes only. They should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel. Always consult with a qualified attorney before making legal decisions based on contract analysis.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and content (excluding user-submitted contracts), is the property of SignaSafe and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the contracts and documents you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the analysis service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignaSafe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SignaSafe, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and cancel any active subscription.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
